At the core of DealerTrend is our Vehicle Marketing System or VMS. We have been managing dealer inventory since 2001 and have a lot of experience in this arena. From receiving feeds to sending exports, we have done it all. The DealerTrend VMS generates and Application Programming Interface (API) that makes it possible for developers to create other automotive products like our WordPress plugin.

When it comes to technology there are companies that are leading the way and companies that are just getting by. At DealerTrend we are using the cutting edge software languages and platforms. We use Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Debian, Apache, PHP, to name just a few. We were the first in the industry to use WordPress for our websites back in 2007 and have continued to evolve what is possible with our API.
